Alright a new post must ensue. I'm tired of looking at that baby cake. I titled this entry as I would label a file name at work, ha. File names! versions! revisions! Oh my GOD.
I've been pretty busy, if you couldn't tell. Work has been crazy (this moment right now is the first real lull I've had since... probably the last time I made an entry here) and it just got interrupted for 45 minutes with some "quick revisions". *shrug* Being so busy, seriously, has often made me numb, to emotions even. It's really weird. Your brain almost becomes an inhuman machine. All I can do is ADS! I begin to not get annoyed with having to do yet another one.. just more stuff to feed my desire for the ultimate efficiency. When I find myself so robotic, things like hunger, lethargy, and worry no longer occur to me.
Anyway I've been trying pretty hard to get wedding related projects closer to completion.
• My dress is fitting almost perfectly now! When I wear it I think about hugging Jon in it
• further work to be done yet on the dress
• Invitations are sent to the printer for a proof and address labels are ready to be printed
• decorations are (I assume) completed for the most part thanks to my mom and my sister
I can't think of anything else if there is anything else. Fwoo! (that's the sound of me ignoring the things I'm forgetting).
I'm looking forward to the family visiting tomorrow. I hope the weekend won't be hectic. Also we're getting our engagement photos taken on Saturday.

A Startling Cake
So, I was looking up ideas for the groom's cake today, and I came across many creative ideas for cake decorating in general, which were highly impressive.. but then I came across this one:
Ho-lee crap that is frightening. Not only is it frightening, but it suggests the consumption of the newly born, and that is cannibalism.
Anyway, Jon and I came up with a cool idea (mostly his idea, but I love it) for the groom's cake, which you'll have to wait and see how it will turn out on the day. Buuut... let's just say if Jon had his way, our place settings might look something like this:
..just kidding. (I'm just kidding about just kidding).
You'll have to wait until we have boys one day, Jonathan ;)
